hi friends welcome back to my other after effects tutorial.
today i am going to create this.
Before begin,dont forget to subscribe my channel below.
and give this tutorial a big thumbs up.
lets jump into after effects.
friends first of all, we need some source files to begin this effect,
lets open this folder.
all these sequence files are in png format.
double click on this first footage.
here i am using right arrow button to view these sequence footage.
perfect.
lets go back and open this dinosaur folder.
again double click on first footage and see the preview of this dinosaur footage with right arrow.
you can also download these files from the link in description below.
lets get started.
go to after effects.
double click on project panel.
select this first png file.
and hit import.
just drag and drop this footage to timeline.
lets see the preview once.
cool.
now we need second dinosaur footage.
again double click on project panel.
open this dinosaur folder.
then select this first png file.
and hit import.
drag and drop this footage to timeline.
lets see the preview once.
now the time to move this dinosaur character behind the wall.
first of all hide this top dinosaur footage layer.
here i am using pen tool to mask this wall like this.
unhide this layer.
goto mask options.
here i select inverted option to invert this dinosaur character.
perfect.
lets see the preview once.
now the time to animate this mask path.
open mask.
hit on stopwatch for keyframes.
goto 5 frames.
now choose selection tool.
and select these mask points by holding shift key.
now move this mask points with arrow key in keyboard.
again go to 5 frames and animate this mask like this.
then we continue the same around 20 frames.
cool.
change the mask feather value to point 5.
hide the mask path.
now the time for preview and final result.
