hi friends welcome back to my other after effects tutorial.
today i am going to show you how to create this glitch logo
animation in after effects.
lets jump into after effects.
first of all create new compostion with these settings.
1280 by 720 pixels with 6 seconds duration and press ok.
now double click on project panel and select these three files.
you can download these files from discription below.
before downloading these files dont forget to subscribe this channel.
ok lets select these files and import.
drag and drop these files except background music file to timeline.
lets see the glitch footage preview once.
hide this glitch footage.
then go to logo layer.
now the time to animate this logo layer.
shortcut s for scale options.
stopwatch on scale for keyframes.
animate it like this.
select these two keyframes and press f9 for easy ease,
that means smooth animation.
now the time to glitch effect.
right click on timeline,new,adjustment layer.
drag it as top layer.
just type displace in effects and presets.
drag this displacement map effect on adjustment layer.
here i select glitch effect footage as displacement map layer.
and change maximum horizontal displacement to 150.
maximum vertical displacement to 125.
lets see the preview once.
as you see the glitch effect is almost ready.
to make it view better.
select the adjustment layer and trim it down to 10 frames
less or more.
then duplicate this adjustment layer by shortcut control d.
i duplicate it to 4 times.
and adjust this layers randomly.
select each layer and change the horizontal and vertical
displacement values like this.
lets see the preview.
next select the logo layer and duplicate it to two times
by pressing shortcut control d.
then rename these layers to red,blue,green by pressing shortcut enter.
now i choose levels individual controls effect in effects and presets.
drag and drop it on these three layers individualy like this.
now select the green logo layer and go to level individual control
panel.
change these values 0 to red and blue colours.
now select the blue logo layer and
change these values 0 to red and green colours.
finally select the red logo layer and
change these values 0 to green and blue colours.
change the normal to screen in blending modes to
both green and blue logo layers.
create a null object by
right click on timeline,new and null object.
and drag this null object layer to top.
type slider control effect in effect and presets.
and drag this effect on null object.
select the red logo layer and hit p for position,
now hold alt button press on the positions
stop watch to open the expressions field.
type wiggle open bracket 10, then grab the target point on slider.
here dont forget to close the expression with end bracket.
ok. lets change the slider value to 40 and see the preview once.
now i add some keyframes to this slider for looking better.
stop watch on slider for keyframes at the beginning of timeline,
then hit shortcut u to view our keyframes.
then change the values put some keyframes like this.
ok.
finaly i drag and drop the background music file to timeline.
now the time for preview and final result.
